https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117411 talks about
"Font metrics slightly changed after update OS to Ubuntu 18.04".
It was found out that this is caused by fonts-liberation changing its metrics
sighlightly, most probably because some tooling (fonttools?) changed and now
honoured stuff.
RH fixed that back then with https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=152651
(see also https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=114434).
Unfortunately back then in October when I noticed it I uninentionally hid it
by disabling those tests (and later there was
https://salsa.debian.org/libreoffice-team/libreoffice/libreoffice/blob/master/patches/tdf108963-test.diff).
Anyway, https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117411 says
that fonts-liberation with the patch applied fixes it. I did so and indeed
that makes the tests work again.
I already opened
https://salsa.debian.org/fonts-team/fonts-liberation2/merge_requests/1 for this.
