Whilst working on the Reproducible Builds effort [0], we noticed
that pyraf could not be built reproducibly.
This is because it installs random cache files under at, for
example:
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/pyraf/clcache.v2/peHMUQgAPVjvymGi0Huk+w==
