Package: gnome-control-center
Version: 1:3.0.0.1-1
Severity: normal

Hi folks,

I've just made the leap to GNOME3 as represented in
sid/experimental today. (Good work btw!)

The only issue I can report so far is that my wallpaper
failed to work upon starting GNOME3: Instead I got a black
background.

Starting gnome-control-center via "System Settings" and
navigating to "Background", I could pick my wallpaper from
the list -- it would show up there, and show up on the mini
monitor picture inside the applet, but not on the real
wallpaper.

~/.xsession-errors showed:

        jon@tchicaya:~$ grep allpap .xsession-errors
        (gnome-control-center:23808): background-cc-panel-WARNING **: URI
'/home/jon/Dropbox/jon/wallpaper/nin/ghosts/10 Ghosts II.jpg' is invalid
        (gnome-control-center:23808): background-cc-panel-WARNING **: URI
'/home/jon/Dropbox/jon/wallpaper/nin/ghosts/10 Ghosts II.jpg' is invalid

Taking the hint, I clicked 'Add' and navigated to one of
my wallpapers. This time it worked -- the paper appeared
on my desktop immediately. However, all my other wallpapers
disappeared (I guess g-c-c took the opportunity to rewrite
my wallpaper file, or remove the old one and create a new
one).

The wallpapers themselves are of course fine -- but I have
to manually add them back to g-c-c, one-by-one.

7 years and 3 stable Debian releases later, I think the conclusion has
been "no" and there doesn't seem much point in continuing to track this
as a bug.
