While testing Debian Edu Buster, I noticed that mate-desktop-environment
pulls in a lot of Samba related packages (due to recommending caja-share).
This leads to a broken installation if the hostname isn't NetBIOS compliant,
see: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=900908
As far as I was able to find out, file sharing via Samba doesn't work out of
the box; Samba has to be configured by a sysadmin to make it work.
Also, ltsp-server-standalone (and ltsp-server) pull in mate-desktop-environment
if no other DE is installed.
So please consider to lower the Recommends to a Suggests.
