Firestarter setup would be simplified if it probed for the default route
instead of forcing the (possibly non-technical) user to guess the
correct interface name.
This could be accomplished in simple cases by defaulting to the
interface used for the "default route" in the local routing table.
Ex:

On my laptop, "eth1" would be the correct choice.
Obviously, this would break when switching between wired and wireless
connection and on machines that connect via ppp, however choosing a
sensible default wouldn't preclude any of these scenarios, while
making life easy in the simple cases.
