Package: udev
Version: 0.087-2

During system boot, once while /etc/init.d/S03udev start is running
and once earlier in the boot process, I am getting a pair of errors
which read something like:

udevd_event[3817]: find_free_number: %e is deprecated, will be removed
and is unlikely to work correctly. Don't use it.

I don't know where this is originating. I'm using a bog-standard
Debian 2.6.15-1-k7 i386 kernel.

FFS, just upgrade it as I said.

Anyway, I still consider the warning appropriate and informative enough.
