--- Begin Message ---Package: icedove Version: 3.0.5-1 Architecture: i386 Hi! I used to run Icedove within a VNC session to keep it running while I'm on the road. (It was running a good number of filters. And I'm using that box headless.) The upgrade from a 2.x version seems to have busted the filter rules, but that's not my main problem (already fixed.) So... I'm running Icedove under `vnc4server' (Package "vnc4server", Version "4.1.1+X4.3.0-37"). Doing the "drag" part works: Pressing the left mouse button and moving the mouse changes the pointer from up-left-arrow to this angular arrow with the attached note. However, when moving the mouse pointer to the left part of the Icedove window (where the tree of IMAP folders is displayed) doesn't result in any folder being highlighted as it used to be. Lifting the finger off the left mouse button when being above any (as described above: not-highlighted) IMAP folder simple results in an animation of the note moving back to where the email came from, but the mail is not moved to the new folder. I traced Icedove under VNC and running via X forwarding with xev, but that didn't reveal a difference. Closing the bug as fixed in 2.24.9, which had this commit. smcv
