Package: gnupg2
Version: 2.2.9-1
Severity: normal

Dear all,

We are using Gpg for distribution release signing and verification of
TeX Live, and to properly respond to all kind of events like expired
keys/signatures, it is necessary to parse the --status-fd/file
output of gpg.

The format of the status output is documented in
        doc/DETAILS
but this file is not installed as far as I can see on my Debian/unstable
system.

Please install it.

Thanks

Norbert

the file you're looking for is installed on Debian/unstable by the gnupg
package as:

   gnupg: /usr/share/doc/gnupg/DETAILS.gz

I'm closing this report as it seems to be handled already, but if you
have any suggestions for how to improve the packaging otherwise, feel
free to open another bug report.

Regards,

        --dkg
