Package: db2
Severity: wishlist

There are no packages in etch which depend on any of the db2 packages.

In unstable, there are only htdig, qtstalker, and libdb2-ruby. qtstalker
is being converted to libdb4 upstream, and libdb2-ruby isn't actually used
by anything else. htdig appears to be unmaintained.

It seems to me that it is a reasonable time to remove db2 entirely. (One way
to close 12 old bugs.)

db2 has been removed from the Debian archive because it's old and
buggy. Please use db4.3 or higher.
