--- Begin Message ---Package: latex-sanskrit Severity: important Tags: patch Dear all! This package needs serious rework to make it work properly with tetex and texlive. First of all it shouldn't be a native package, but a normal package. I prepared a fixed version which is available from deb(-src) http://www.tug.org/texlive/Debian/ check/ There is also a rebuild .orig.tar.gz removing the debian subdir. Please check it out. The changelog is here, what is missing the closing of the bug wrt dh_installtexfonts * Several fixes: - make the package work with the current TDS by installing the map files in the right location - remove the useless call to dh_installtexfonts, and use dh_installtex to actually install a map file - remove the dh_installxfonts call as long as the fonts are not made available to X - install the metafont sources - install the font files into {tfm,sources,type1}/public/sanskrit ie adding public - making the package not a Debian specific, it has an upstream, although not active anymore. - remove the empty maintainer scripts, the necessary ones are generated automatically by debhelper/dh_installtex. - remove unnecessary build dependencies - depend alternatively on texlive-base - add tex-common to the depends via misc:Depends variable - remove generated README.type1 - remove call to make without makefile -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (10, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-rc6-mm2 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15)
