Dear Maintainer,
Development of mail-notification by its original authors stopped around
2008. Between 2010 and 2012 there was an actively developed fork on github,
that can be found here:
https://github.com/epienbroek/mail-notification/
The github version features various bug fixes and improvements, including a
GTK3 port, so please consider shipping that version instead of the original
mail-notification.
