Package: diatheke
Version: 1.7.3+dfsg-2
Severity: normal
Beginning with the update to 1.7.3, diatheke now outputs the last

Genesis 1:1: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Thanks.

Thank you for the bug report and sorry for the long delay in replying.
Since a few days, an updated version of the SWORD library has been made
available in Debian unstable. This is version 1.7.4.
This new version fixes the behaviour described.
Instead of outputting the verse text twice, it now only outputs it once.
Thank you all for your contributions to Debian and Ubuntu.
