--- Begin Message ---Package: consolekit Severity: normal I have a machine with an unstable install: the basic debian packages plus the xorg and xfce4 metapackages. xfce4 is started with startx. Inserting a USB stick and right-clicking its desktop icon presents a 'Mount Volume' option. Choosing the option gives 'Failed to mount .... Not Authorized'. A data CD/DVD will get mounted but cannot be ejected with the 'Eject Volume' option. ck-list-sessions says: Session1: unix-user = '1000' realname = 'Brian Potkin' seat = 'Seat1' session-type = '' active = FALSE x11-display = '' x11-display-device = '' display-device = '/dev/tty1' remote-host-name = '' is-local = TRUE on-since = '2011-08-25T16:54:51.244126Z' login-session-id = '' idle-since-hint = '2011-08-25T16:55:34.260180Z' Session2: unix-user = '1000' realname = 'Brian Potkin' seat = 'Seat2' session-type = '' active = FALSE x11-display = ':0' x11-display-device = '/dev/tty7' display-device = '/dev/tty1' remote-host-name = '' is-local = FALSE on-since = '2011-08-25T16:55:06.962920Z' login-session-id = '' Replacing unstable's consolekit with the Squeeze package allows mounting a USB device and ejecting a CD/DVD.
