Package: ddclient
Version: 3.6.2-2
Severity: normal

Hi!

If I put
daemon=0
into /etc/ddclient.conf, ddclient will stay in memory and retries to
update the ip address. Having an dial-up connection, that automatically
redials after going offline (8h online limit), makes various
non-cooperating ddclient copies in memory. It all ends up, that no
ddclient will update the ip address, because "someone" did it before...

So long
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

I just checked the daemon=0 option and it works just fine here. I can
only guess that an older version did not handle it the way one would
expect.

Closing the bug, if it still applies for you, please object!

Greetings

        Torsten
