--- Begin Message ---Package: nfs-kernel-server Version: 1:1.0.7-1 Severity: minor Hi, today I setup nfs export on my amd64 machine. After invoking /etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server start the following message was displayed: Exporting directories for NFS kernel daemon...exportfs: /etc/exports [3]: No 'sy nc' or 'async' option specified for export "192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0:/usr/local /exchange". Assuming default behaviour ('sync'). NOTE: this default has changed from previous versions done. Starting NFS kernel daemon: nfsd mountd. Thus, I invoked man exports but there was no description of the sync option. Only async is described.
