Package: banshee
Version: 2.4.1-3+b1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

I am trying to compile banshee 2.6.2 hopind it will fix the mtp issue that
prevents my galaxy s iii to sync music from banshee.

I am stuck at the following error:

configure: error: Package requirements (gstreamer-1.0 >= 0.11.99
                gstreamer-base-1.0 >= 0.11.99
                gstreamer-controller-1.0 >= 0.11.99
                gstreamer-plugins-base-1.0 >= 0.11.99
                gstreamer-audio-1.0 >= 0.11.99
                gstreamer-fft-1.0 >= 0.11.99
                gstreamer-pbutils-1.0 >= 0.11.99
                gstreamer-tag-1.0 >= 0.11.99
                gstreamer-video-1.0 >= 0.11.99) were not met:

No package 'gstreamer-plugins-base-1.0' found
No package 'gstreamer-audio-1.0' found
No package 'gstreamer-fft-1.0' found
No package 'gstreamer-pbutils-1.0' found
No package 'gstreamer-tag-1.0' found
No package 'gstreamer-video-1.0' found

It is possible for you who manage the banshee project to make a wheezy-backport
package for banshee ? I really enjoy stability of debian, but having to
download-compile-install volatile software like this one is very annoying.

This mono based software have too many dependiences difficult to resolve, I am
not an expert debian packager.

Any help will be apreciated.
