Dear maintainers,
With a recent upload of c-blosc the autopkgtest of python-blosc fails in
testing when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages of c-blosc
from unstable. It passes when run with only packages from testing. In
tabular form:
pass fail
c-blosc from testing 1.14.4+ds1-1
python-blosc from testing 1.5.1+ds2-1
all others from testing from testing
The test times out after 5 and a half hours, while successful runs are
done in slightly over 1 minute. The last recorded thing before the time
out (in both python2 and python3 testing) is:
Doctest: blosc.toplevel.decompress ... Output buffer size should be
larger than 16 bytes
This string isn't present in successful runs.
Currently this regression is contributing to the delay of the migration
of c-blosc to testing [1]. Due to the nature of this issue, I filed this
bug report against both packages. Can you please investigate the
situation and reassign the bug to the right package? If needed, please
change the bug's severity.
