Package: xboxdrv
Version: 0.8.8-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I connected a controller to the computer and invoked xboxdrv manually with
'xboxdrv --evdev /dev/input/event21 --mimic-xpad' where event21 corresponds
to the controller. The device event21 produced events just fine, which I checked
using evtest. Here is the output in verbatim:

--------------------

# xboxd --evdev /dev/input/event21 --mimic-xpad
xboxdrv 0.8.8 - http://pingus.seul.org/~grumbel/xboxdrv/
Copyright © 2008-2011 Ingo Ruhnke <[email protected]>

This program comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY.
This is free software, and you are welcome to redistribute it under certain
conditions; see the file COPYING for details.

Your Xbox/Xbox360 controller should now be available as:
  /dev/input/js1
  /dev/input/event22

Press Ctrl-C to quit, use '--silent' to suppress the event output

--------------------

xboxdrv grabs the device event21 but doesn't produce any events on event22
nor on js1.

Help is very much appreciated.
