Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: wishlist
Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for my package "slurp"
* Package name : slurp
Version : 1.0-1
Upstream Author : Simon Ser
* Url : https://wayland.emersion.fr/slurp/
* Licenses : Expat

slurp is a command-line utility to select a region from Wayland
compositors which support the layer-shell protocol. It lets the user
hold the pointer to select, or click to cancel the selection.
It builds those binary packages:

(and slurp, too)
With a very weak attempt, I did not manage to get these to work -- both
tools complained about the compositor lacking the required protocol. I know
nothing about Wayland, though -- I'm happy with X, thank you very much.
But, this kind of review doesn't require testing whether the software
actually works -- it's about packaging. And I have not a single complaint
there. So let's not wait any more -- if someone with a domain-specific
knowledge would come up, that would have already happened. And even though
this knowledge should be easy enough to obtain, I'm too lazy to bother.
Uploaded, thanks for your work!
Meow.
