Package: ia32-libs

Version: 1.6

Severity: wishlist

libSDL is apparently used by Tremulous (where I first

ran into it on my Debian amd64 sid system) but only

the 64-bit version is available. The Tremulous folks

were nice enough to compile a version w/ it statically

linked in (adds 3.1MB to the final file size)-:

Googling, I found that it's also used by Quake3/4 and

Blender. Perhaps libSDL should also be included in

the ia32-libs package?

Some other distributions like Ubuntu also include an

ia32-libs-sdl package, but there doesn't seem to be

an equivalent in the pure-Debian world...

Hello,

today, ia32-libs 1.7 was uploaded, with libSDL support.
Looks like this bug report overlapped with the new version being
installed into the archive.

Best regards
