Package: lxqt-branding-debian
Version: 0.14.0.1
Severity: normal

Dear all,

I am/was upgrading debian when I came across the following scenario -

$ sudo aptitude install lxqt lxqt-branding-debian lxqt-core lxqt-theme-debian -y
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  preload{a}
The following packages will be upgraded:
  lxqt lxqt-branding-debian lxqt-core lxqt-theme-debian

 This goes against what is being said in the changelog .

 xqt-metapackages (28) unstable; urgency=medium

  * lxqt-core:
    - Depend on lxqt-branding-debian | lxqt-branding
    - Recommend qterminal
    - Recommend qps
    - Suggest feathernotes
    - Suggest preload

I am/was trying to update lxqt-branding-debian to 0.14.0.3 but as can
be seen there is a difference between what is shared and how it works.

One should read the whole meta-packages changelog, not only *-core:

lxqt-metapackages (29) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Recommends lxqt-branding-debian | lxqt-branding in lxqt-core
  * Depends on lxqt-branding-debian | lxqt-branding in lxqt
