Package: python-kerberos
Version: 1.1+svn4895-1+b2
Severity: wishlist

I'm the Fedora maintainer of python-kerberos.

I've submitted a patch upstream to add an API for gss_inquire_cred(),
https://trac.calendarserver.org/ticket/830 , but haven't gotten any response at
all in weeks.

I want to include this patch into Fedora but don't want to create an
incompatibility with other distros. Can you consider including this patch as
well?

This patch adds new API so you can determine the current principal without
making a server connection or having to make direct Kerberos calls (using
python-krbV for example).

According to #766043 this is not needed anymore so I'm closing this as
well. Please reopen if I missed something.
