etherpuppet fails to cross build from source, because it uses the build
architecture compiler as a make default in debian/rules. The easiest way
of fixing that is seeding the value from dpkg's buildtools.mk and doing
so makes etherpuppet cross buildable. Please consider applying the
attached patch.
