You catched this very ancient bug before it became a FTBFS, will apply
the fix now, thanks!
This was fixed for the bug
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=897733 with 0.5.17-11,
and I applied it in the upstream part in 0.5.18 (and I just uploaded
0.5.18-1 to experimental).
So bookkeeping and closing this bug accordingly.
