Hi Jonathan,

I started working on the toolchain package and managed to break it, but
I only noticed much later, because it lacks tests. I managed to break
the simplest of all tests: compiling an empty file. Could you maybe add
that as an autopkgtest? Not opposed to testing more, but this would
already help.
