Package: proftpd-ldap
Version: 1.2.8-9
Severity: grave
Tags: patch sid
Justification: renders package unusable
(below is the severe bug, which this line corrects in my current version)
- CFLAGS := -O3 -Wall -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64
+ CFLAGS := -O2 -fPIC -Wall -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64
(this is the wishlist bug below)
configure script:
- --sysconfdir=/etc
+ --sysconfdir=/etc/proftpd
and this time, don't ignore me; i'll keep posting bugs against this until i get
acknowledged,
or get someone to do an NMU against this package. (i'm talking about the sever
bug, not the
wishlist bug of course). if this is fixed in 1.2.8-11, then tell me anyway; i'm
not going
to install a package that's broken so i can see whether or not it's fixed in
the newer one.
considering the lack of response in the past and the lack of any actual fixes
hitting unstable,
i wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
