Package: tetex-bin
Version: 3.0-16
Severity: normal

Trying to compile an old latex document with pdflatex (and beamer), I
got the error :
pdflatex: symbol lookup error: pdflatex: undefined symbol:
_ZN6PDFDocC1EP9GooStringS1_S1_

Looking on google, I found this :
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/tetex-bin/+bug/29313

I did not investigate more for now (ie I do not try to remove
"\usepackage[pdftex]{graphicx}" nor to recompile against the current
version of libpoppler as said on the previous link).

  Best regards,
    Vincent

Yep, it was 0.5.0 which had same soname as 0.4.x line. Upstream has
changed soname with 0.5.1 release (which I am building right now).
I am closing this bug then, there is nothing I can do with this bug (not
considering some craziness as epoch change :-).

Nope (at least I am not aware of it).
