Package: util-vserver
Version: 0.30.210-5
Severity: normal

I've manually changed the symblic link /etc/vservers/.defaults/vdirbase
to point to a partition with enough free space. But after every update
of the package this gets reset to the default /var/lib/vservers.

Is there a better way to configure this permanently?

I could imagine two possible solutions to preserve admins modifications
to /etc/vservers/.defaults/vdirbase:

* create the symlink in postinst if it does not exist, remove on purge
* add a low priority debconf question for the location and use this

and if the directory specified does not exist, ask the user whether it
should be created.

Andreas

PS: Thanks for the fix response to the previous bug reports!
