This was a hard one to detect. The problem is that if knotify is configured to
use the KDE sound system running with an M-Audio Delta 1010LT sound card, it
somehow manages to set the source of the clock of the sound card to S/PDIF.
Then *I guess* the notifications hangs because as there is no clock in the
sound card, nothing can "evolve" including the software that plays the audio
itself. This also means that the clock source can't be changed until knotify
apps are killed.
How does knotify manages to change the source clock I really don't know.
I understand this can be a very hard bug to solve without the proper hardware,
so please do not hesitate in asking me for more info/compile stuff, etc.
Reproducible: Always
Actual Results:
Sound hanged, can't change audio card's master/source clock.
