Package: zope-common
Version: 0.5.45
Severity: normal
Hello,
I just discovered that dzhandle supports global Extensions management,
which I appreciate. But I also discovered minor bugs in dzhandles
extensions management:
- The dzhandle help doesn't mention either of list-extensions,
add-extension and remove-extension so far. Only the manpage mentions
them.
- 'dzhandle list-extensions' gives the same header as list-products:
'Listing products available for all version(s)'. This is confusing as
it actually list extensions and not products.
- Both /usr/share/zope/Extensions and /usr/local/share/zope/Extensions
aren't provided, while the two respective Products do exist. At least
the Products folder in /usr/local/share/zope is created by the
zope-common postinst script, thus the respective Extensions folder
should be created the same way.
- Many Extensions are one single python script. Nevertheless dzhandle
seems to support only folders as extensions. It would be great if *.py
files in the global Extensions folder could be treaded as extensions
as well.
greetings,
jonas
