Package: git-core
Version: 1:1.7.2.3-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

Contrary to what its description states, the 'git-core' transitional
package cannot be removed because packages giggle and gitstats
(and possibly other) depend on it. It seems that the Conflicts/Replaces
of 'git' package upon 'git-core' package is not working properly.

Cheers,

Denis

As of version 1:2.15.0~rc1-1 the git-core package is no longer built, so
it cannot possibly have bugs any more. ;-)
