Package: python-visual
Version: 1:5.12-1.6+b6
Severity: normal

zealot:~> python2
Python 2.7.13 (default, Jan 19 2017, 14:48:08)
[GCC 6.3.0 20170118] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> from visual import *
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/visual/materials.py:70: FutureWarning:
comparison to `None` will result in an elementwise object comparison in the
future.
  self.__setattr__(key, value)
>>>

I expect this is harmless at least in stretch. (And, is it really
likely that python2.7 is going to change this now?)

The fix is probably easy: check the Python docs to find out what this
warning is about and update the python-visual source code in the
appropriate way. Maybe this has already been done upstream and the
real fix is a new upstream version. I'm afraid I haven't
investigated.

Regards,
Ian.
