Package: trac-bitten
Version: 0.6+final-3
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
the trac-bitten plugin is not usable after installing trac and trac-bitten on a
fresh container environment
of current debian stable.
Trac is configured to use sqlite as database backend and no user management is
used for this test case.
After installing the packages and configuring Apache to serve trac, the
trac-bitten plugin is enabled
via the web admin guis plugin section. Then the required database upgrade is
run via a terminal session.
The latter process fails with this message:
# The upgrade failed. Please fix the issue and try again.
#
# AttributeError: 'Environment' object has no attribute 'get_db_cnx'
Afterwards the trac project is broken. However, the project can be reset into a
usable state by restoring the
/db/trac.db from the backup version from pre-upgrade as well as removing all
bitten config entries from
conf/trac.ini within the trac project folder.
The trac-bitten functionality remaing unusable.
