Package: gnome-control-center
Version: 1:3.29.90-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

gnome-control-center does not start since 1:3.29.90-1. The error I get:

foo@bar:~$ gnome-control-center -v
17:47:38.0368 sharing-cc-panel: DEBUG: Error calling
GetHostNameFqdn: DBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name
org.freedesktop.Avahi was not provided by any .service files
Speicherzugriffsfehler

   * What led up to the situation?

I updated gnome-control-center from 1:3.28.2-1 to 1:3.29.90-1

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?

I looked up what package provides the missing "org.freedesktop.Avahi" .service
file on the package files search site.

https://packages.debian.org/search?searchon=contents&keywords=org.freedesktop.Avahi.service&mode=path&suite=unstable&arch=any

   * What was the outcome of this action?

I installed avahi-daemon (0.7-4) and gnome-control-center works now

Please consider adding avahi-daemon as a dependency to gnome-control-center or
one of its dependencies, whatever makes more sense.

Thank you for your work.

This appears to have been fixed upstream by commit 81dec85 "sharing:
Bind hostname_entry from UI" before 3.30.1. Please open a new bug if
crashes persist.
