tntnet fails to cross build from source, because ./configure is unable
to figure out whether epoll is supported. It tries to do check whether
epoll actually works and this check cannot work during cross building.
For this reason, ./configure allows specifying whether to build with
epoll support explicitly. Once doing so, the build proceeds a lot
further. It still fails running the ecppc compiler part of tntnet. I
don't see an obvious way to fix that, but please consider applying the
attached patch as an incremental step. Please close this bug when doing
so despite tntnet continuing to fail cross builds. However, the
secondary failure will become more visible.
