This is to note that I have started packaging openbabel v3.0.0 and to
log the progress.
The package just got accepted to experimental, so I've started
test-rebuilding reverse dependencies of libopenbabel-dev, as suggested
in [1]. According to [2], they are the following:
* kalzium
* ghemical
* v-sim
* mpqc3
* xdrawchem
* gnome-chemistry-utils
As of now I have checked kalzium 19.08.1-1, which builds fine. More later.
Best,
Andrius

Hello,
Just uploaded 3.0.0+dfsg-2 to unstable. Closing the bug as I misformatted
the closing instruction in the changelog.
