--- Begin Message ---Package: lintian-brush Version: 0.58 Severity: normal Dear Jelmer, man lintian-brush.conf explains the "per-package configuration for lintian-brush" and says lintian-brush.conf is a lintian-brush per-package configuration file, which contains of a series of single key/value pairs. However after reading the manpage it's still unclear to me how the format should exactly look like *per package*. I guess 'compat-release = stable' is a valid key/value pair, but how to specify the package? (And btw, are '11' and '11.0' valid values too? :) -- cheers, Holger ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- holger@(debian|reproducible-builds|layer-acht).org PGP fingerprint: B8BF 5413 7B09 D35C F026 FE9D 091A B856 069A AA1C Our civilization is being sacrificed for the opportunity of a very small number of people to continue making enormous amounts of money... The configuration file lives in the package itself - there is currently no global configuration file. Would a global configuration file also be useful, in addition to in-package preferences? The manpage is indeed fairly lacking in this aspect - I've made some improvements clarifying this for the next release. > However after reading the manpage it's still unclear to me how the format > should > exactly look like *per package*. Cheers, Jelmer
