Hi,
the maintainer scripts of your package don't properly integrate with
dbconfig-common. Only the postinst uses dbconfig-common, but
prerm/postrm are lacking the equivalent parts. Therefore it is not
possible to remove the database when the package gets purged.
See e.g. /usr/share/doc/dbconfig-common/examples/db-test-pgsql-2.0 for
a dbconfig-common package example.
Also debian/gnukhata-core-engine.postrm is an incorrect stub, missing
the hashbang and set -e.
