Package: zoneminder
Version: 1.32.3-2
I asked for help on ZM forums, lots of details here
https://forums.zoneminder.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=28830
I tried many things, but at the end of the day the agreement is that the
1.32 debian package is broken, and it's also obsolete as it contains many bugs
fixed in newer versions.
This doesn't mean there was anything wrong with the packaging, but that
the ZM version at the time was unfortunately broken.
I have found no newer versions that work in i386 (the single one I found
required a lot of systemd dependencies I can't install all, I tried, but
failed). I also found amd64 packages, but hat's not compatible with my
system.
I would really love an up to date ZM package for i386, ideally without
any requirement on systemd.
I looked into building my own, but it looks somewhat non trivial.
Can you help by releasing a newer package?
Thanks,
Marc
