Package: mount
Version: 2.13.1.1-1
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/share/man/man8/mount.8.gz

       check=value [[ADD: (only relevant for msdos (and umsdos?))]]
              Three different levels of pickyness can be chosen

Also it should mention it is talking about filenames.
Also perhaps raise an error if other than -t msdos is used.

Also at
       shortname=[lower|win95|winnt|mixed]
mention that trying to use it with -t msdos will give an error, and/or
it is only relevant with -t vfat, apparently.

Also mention there is just no way currently to mount -t msdos and see all
uppercase filenames, like a real IBM PC would show. Mention all one
can do currently is e.g.,
$ ls|tr [:lower:] [:upper:] #or even:
$ stty olcuc

Hi,

thank you for your reports. Please send documentation and message
improvements upstream, as tracking this in Debian is a good way of
them never arriving :-)

See https://github.com/karelzak/util-linux/issues

Karel and team tend to react well to properly formatted patches that
are useful to all distributions.

Stay safe,
Chris
