Hi,

thanks for maintaining this package.

just found out, that debian/control file is generated during build to
automatically set the uploaders-field. To my knowledge, that's not
adviceable.

How about adding an optional target in debian/rules that updates the
control file (which would need to be run manually). Then you could do a
check during clean-rules that will bail out if the control-file is not
up to date.
