Package: links
Version: 0.82.0r-1.0.1
Severity: wishlist

Since links actually renders tables (unlike lynx), having to use the up
and down keys to navigate between links becomes somewhat cumbersome, as
there is no obvious vertical order for the links without a table. I
suggest that all 4 arrow keys should be used and that navigation between
links should be based on the relationship of the links on the screen
(i.e. which is left of which, which is above which) rather than the
current scheme (where hitting up may make the selected link be one in
literally any direction from the current). The "forward" and
"back" commands previously mapped to left and right arrow keys could be
remapped to ctrl-left and ctrl-right, as in Netscape.
