Package: luma
Version: 2.3-1
Severity: normal
i just installed luma 2.3-1.
if i mouse over the 'Choose plugin' button without clicking it, it
brings me to the "Choose plugin" view, removing whichever plugin i was
using. This is disconcerting, to say the least.
I briefly tested this further by making a change within the Browser
plugin, then mousing over "Choose plugin" on my way to click the
"save" button in the toolbar. It looks like my changes were silently
discarded, which is not a good thing.
it looks like the problem is probably in
/usr/lib/luma/base/gui/MainWin.py, but i don't know python well enough
to fix it myself.
Thanks for maintaining this package.

This behaviour of moving you from the plugin you were in, to the plugin-view
when you hover the mouse-pointer over the choose-plugin-menu for a given
period of time - is deliberately done so by the developer(s) of Luma. You can
argue if its a good thing or not - but its not a bug since it was intended to
be this way by the developer(s).
I'm closing the bug in Debian BTS. Please file a de-feature-request upstream
(luma.sf.net) if this feature is dissatisfactory to you.
Thanks for using Luma, and giving me (and Luma) feedback to make Luma better
software.
