Package: gaim-encryption
Version: 3.0~beta6-1
Severity: grave

Hi,

I've looked at all "Segfault" bugs of gaim-encryption (now closed) and
this looks a different one.

This segfault happens even if all other plugins are unloaded and gaim
restarted.

I've tried rebuilding with current gaim (in up-to-date pbuilder), no change.

Yes, I use some experimental libc (without problems). Downgrading
libc to the version in sid changes the output to only
*** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (fasttop):
    0x08761140 ***
    Aborted
i.e, without a backtrace.

Below is the output with experimental libc6.

Thanks for considering,
    dam
