Package: gnumeric
Version: 1.6.3-1+b1
I'm not sure exactly how to report this, so I'm filing a bug on it.
The unstable gnumeric archives for amd64 appear to have been broken for
quite some time now. It appears to have version 1.6.3-1+b1 of gnumeric,
but version 1.6.3-1 of gnumeric-common. This has been the case for
several weeks, and makes gnumeric uninstallable on amd64 unstable
systems, at least from the mirrors I use (mirror.espri.arizona.edu and
amd64.debian.net). One has to build it from the source archive and
install the resulting packages.
The following was done immediately after an 'apt-get update':
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# apt-get --no-act install gnumeric
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
gnumeric: Depends: gnumeric-common (= 1.6.3-1+b1) but 1.6.3-1 is to be
installed
