Hello,

I'd like to attach folders with everything contained. This would spare
me the tedious process of attaching one file after the other while
navigating the tree, and also spare the problem of possible name
collision.

I know I could create an archive, eg. using tar or zip, but would prefer
to not do this, since the other side then complains about the work to
unpack those.

Kind regards,

Since there is a workaround and this has not been implemented 10y later, I'm
closing the bug as wontfix.
