Package: nautilus
Version: 2.8.2-2
Severity: normal
When a user with a non-default desktop background selects 'Use Default
Background' in the desktop context menu, nautilus resets the
background to what has been set in
/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults/schemas/desktop/gnome/background/%gconf.xml
(normally /usr/share/images/desktop-base/default).
If the user then opens the Background capplet the background gets
changed again to what has been specified in
/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults/desktop/gnome/background/%gconf.xml.
I think the latter is the "correct" background, as it is the one the
system administrator has set as default. So Nautilus should use the
system default of /desktop/gnome/background/picture_filename instead
of the default of /schemas/desktop/gnome/background/picture_filename.

As the "use default background" menu entry doesn't exist anymore, this
bug is no longer relevant.
