Once pmount & Co. have done the job of mounting a USB key
(/media/usbdisk) the "Computer" resource used to show the device as
mounted (as of N. 2.10). Now it does offer the possibility of mounting
it (which does not reflect the state of the device nor is it necessary
as the device _is_ mounted) and does not give the possibility of
unmounting it, which is rather inconvenient also because unmounting
requires becoming root (with pmount no mount point is specified in
/etc/fstab and the user cannot umount the device directly from the command line)

It turned out this bug was in the kernel, not in gnome-vfs. 2.6.12
vastly sucks, please upgrade for those still running it.
