Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

AFAICT last upgrade.

There's no playback audio in notes input.

Launching musescore3 produces this output:

$ musescore3
PulseAudio Context Connect Failed with Error: Connection denied
init PulseAudio failed
no audio driver found
Cannot start I/O
sequencer init failed

But PA seems to be running fine and audio works (for instance, with mplayer and
audacious).

Let me know if I can add any useful information.

Thanks a lot, best regards!

Interesting as these two directly contradict each other.

This does seem to be a local problem with PulseAudio on your system.
