Package: roundcube-plugins
Version: 1.3.15+dfsg.1-1~deb10u1

Package: php-net-ldap2
Version: Package unavailable
============================

System:
- Debian GNU/Linux 4.19.152-1 x86_64 (amd64),
- kernel 4.19.0-12-amd64 4.19.152-1
- libc6:amd64 2.28-10

Problem:

Hello,

The roundcube package requires php-net-ldap2 to run the password plugin (LDAP). The php-net-ldap2 package is not available in the Debian stable release. This is a big problem for me. I have a large mail installation and I can't upgrade our webmail to the Debian 10 release.

Could you add php-net-ldap2 to the stable repository?

Best redgards

Dunno if that's suitable for your environment, but FWIW there is also
‘ldap_simple’ which “[is a] rewritten ldap driver that doesn't require
the Net_LDAP2 PEAR extension. It uses directly PHP's ldap module
functions instead (as Roundcube does).” See
/usr/share/doc/roundcube-plugins/plugins/password/README.gz sec 2.1.12.

Stable uploads isn't up to us but to the release team, and I every much
doubt they're accept to re-add a package that was removed from testing
(https://bugs.debian.org/882938). I'm closing this as it's not a
Roundcube bug, and the php-net-ldap2 FTBFS is already tracked as
#882938 — please help fixing that bug if you'd like to see php-net-ldap2
in Bullseye! :-)

Cheers,
